  •  When will the system be upgraded?

    Upgrade will take place on Sunday, October 10, from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m.

  •  How will users be notified about important information regarding the upgrade?

    There will be a multi-channel approach to ensure users are aware of the upgrade and receive all the information necessary for them to effectively use the new features and functionality.

    Email alerts from uhealthit@miami.edu

    Alerts will inform users of key dates, new features and functionality, training information, system alerts, and support information. Additionally, users will be notified of important technical and system details such as workflow limitations and downtime procedures.

      

    UChart System Messages

    Message of the Day & Dashboard Messages will be posted within UChart to notify users about the technical and system details listed above.  

     

    Marketing Materials 

    Electronic materials will be shared to build awareness and engagement across the UHealth system. This includes electronic flyers, desktop backgrounds, and banners on the UMed Insider intranet.

  • Is training required and how will it be provided?

    Yes, training is required and will be available via ULearn CBLs and tip sheet sheets on the UChart website.

    Training Dates:

    Monday, September 27 – Saturday, October 9.

  • Where can users access information about the upgrade?

    Users can access information regarding the UChart Summer 2021 upgrade on the UChart website: https://uchart.it.miami.edu/summer2021. This is a comprehensive resource featuring key dates, resources, training information, new features/functionality, and major announcements. The website will be updated continuously to provide the latest information.

  • Will there be on-site support?
